MARIA ERRICO - Owner /Director of Studio 19 Centre for Performing Arts, is a former professional performing artist. She opened Studio 19 in 1998, but has been teaching dance for over twenty years.
As director of Studio 19, Ms. Errico brought an intensive Graham based modern dance program to Central Florida students and pioneered a musical theater program that integrated dance and vocal training for young students. Over the years, she has succeeded in building a rigorous ballet and classical dance program that operates as a ballet academy, but offers equally challenging modern dance classes.
Ms. Errico was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and attended Brooklyn College School of Performing Arts and the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Modern Dance in NYC. Ms. Errico studied jazz with Luigi in NYC and attended musical theater and cultural diversity classes at the University of Central Florida. She performed with MBC Choreographers, Sandra Bromberg and in many musical revues and dinner theater productions.
LYNN DILKS-KINNISON - Dance Classes Instructor:
Ms. Kinnison was a professional dancer, singer, and actress at Sea World, Walt Disney/MGM Studios and Universal Studios. She has also performed in various musical theater productions and television commercials.
Ms. Kinnison’s early training began in Orlando where she studied Tap, Ballet, Pointe, & Jazz, at The Regent Dance Studio and also at the acclaimed Royal School of Dance.
- SUSAN STONE - Dance Classes Instructor: Ms. Stone is a well respected international teacher; she has taught in several European countries and nationally here in the U.S.
Ms. Stone’s early training began in England at the Royal Academy of Dance and later continued with the Legat School of Russian ballet. She has served as rehearsal director, company director, & choreographer for various ballet companies.
KATRINA ERRICO - Dance Classes Instructor:
Ms. Errico began studying dance at age 3 under the direction of Inez Shoup.
In 1993, when her mother opened Studio 19, she began studying contemporary modern dance, classical ballet, pointe, musical theater, jazz and ballroom dance until she graduated high school in 2004.
Ms. Errico taught ballet at Peggy’s Dance Studio in Zephyrhills, Florida while attending St. Leo University, where she received a BA.
She has performed onstage with Dance Alive’s Nutcracker, at Manhattan Dance Project and for Paramount Parks. She is a former member of the Maria Errico Contemporary Youth Company.
